BAMM - British Association of Modern Mosaicists
The British Association for Modern Mosaic (BAMM) was founded in 1999, to promote, encourage and support excellence in contemporary mosaic art and to raise public awareness of modern mosaic art through exhibitions, publications, events and related educational activities.
BAMM is an energetic and enthusiastic membership association open to all those interested in contemporary mosaic art.
It was through participating in some online makealongs that really got me going with mosaic.

Line Mortensen
I first saw Line's lovely work in the Edinburgh Fringe at St John's. I had been allowed to choose something for a special gift, and I spotted one of her stunning pieces. My partner nearly fainted when he saw the price which reflected the work involved but was well beyond budget - but it did mean that I was then able to negotiate getting some smaller ones that I treasure.

Rachel Davies MosaicList Item 1
I did an online session with Rachel as a birthday treat to myself a few years ago and loved it! I eventually invested in a small piece of hers which I spent many hours gazing at whilst working from home during lockdown.
She is the Chair of BAMM, who's online makealongs helped keep me sane during lockdown.

Francesca Busca
I was introduced to Francesca's work through a BAMM makealong, when she contributed a 'Prompt from a Pro'. I was blown away - it was like she was speaking my language - but oh so much more fluently. I find her work so inspiring and beautiful.
